Journal of Emergency Medicine, Trauma and Acute Care

The Journal of Emergency Medicine, Trauma and Acute Care (eISSN 1999-7094) - formerly known as the Middle East Journal of Emergency Medicine - is an open access, peer-reviewed journal, based in Qatar and owned by Hamad Medical Corporation. It covers a variety of topics related to all aspects of emergency medicine, trauma and acute care. We publish articles which are relevant to those working in both hospital and pre-hospital environments.

The journal aims to encourage the dissemination of local and international knowledge in an area that is one of the most challenging areas of medicine. It also encourages the inclusion of trauma and intensive care as the latest sub-specialities in the field of emergency medicine.

Traditionally the journal publishes a roughly equal mix of original research articles and case reports. It also publishes reviews, evidence-based reviews, editorials, correspondance and other relevant material. Original submissions are welcomed.

Hamad Medical Corporation has generously agreed to cover all Article Processing Charges for the journal.
